Day 1: Krakow - ARRIVAL

Day 2: Krakow and the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki – Krakow
Breakfast at the hotel.
Guided tour around Krakow. Wawel Hill with the castle and its beautiful yard and the Cathedral (entrance). Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture of The Old Town (Stare Miasto), the biggest Market Square in Europe (Rynek Glowny), The Town Hall, Collegium Maius – the ancient building of The Jagiellonian University, The Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), Saint Mary’s Church (Kosciol Mariacki – entrance) with the famous Wit Stwosz’ altar. Walk to the antique walls of The Old Town with Florianska Gate and The Barbican. The Czartoryski Museum with Lady with the Ermine. During the visit: multimedia presentation about the story of amber called Polish Gold. In the year 1978 Krakow was inscribed on The World Heritage List of The UNESCO.

Departure for The Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. ‘Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy’. Visiting Monastery in Lagiewniki. There is a Sanctuary of Divine Mercy where Saint Faustina Kowalska lived and died. This Monastery was proclaimed ‘The center of Divine Mercy’ by The Pope John Paul II during his stay in Poland in 2002. On The Sunday of Divine Mercy (a week after Easter) thousands people arrive here to participate in The Mass and pray in the antique church where Saint Faustina Kowalska (founder of the cult of Divine Mercy) was buried.

Day 3: Krakow – The Sanctuary of Black Madonna in Czestochowa – Warsaw

Day 4: Warsaw – Glogowiec and Swinice Warckie – Plock – Warsaw
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Glogowiec.
Visiting Glogowiec and Swinice Warckie: to related S. Faustina Kowalska places. – where she was born and Swinice Warckie where she was baptized.
Free time.
Arrival to Plock and visiting XII century Cathedral Basilica, X century Benedictine Abbey and Congregation House (where Faustina worked and had her first revelation of Divine Mercy in 1931).

Day 6: Vilnius

Panoramic sightseeing of the capital of Lithuania, which is famous for being the most baroque city in the Nordic Europe, for all these little narrow streets and for beautiful panorama with the numerous belfries.
After first stop at the St. Peters and Paul’s church, one of the most beautiful baroque buildings in northern Europe, we will visit the St. Faustina Museum in the suburb of Antakalnis. The museum is the actual place where St. Faustina lived and had most of the revelations. The building survived the Soviet times only and just by a miracle, all the surrounding houses are from the years 1950-1970. Professional local guide will tell us the story and show where St. Faustina spent most of her time, prayed and had revelations.
Visit of the he the Gate of Dawn with the holy image of the Virgin Mary a place where Michal Sopocko for the first in 1935 the 28th of April presented the painting of Divine Mercy to the public. The place is also one of the most important pilgrimage places in northern Europe.
Free time.
After lunch we will visit the church of Holy Spirit where for many years the Divine Mercy painting was held.
The most important part of the pilgrimage tour comes here when we go to the Divine Mercy Sanctuary. Free time to pray in the sanctuary in front of the original Divine Mercy of Jesus painting. Later on participation in the holy mass in the sanctuary.
In the evening possibility to visit special place for acquiring memorabilia of the Divine Mercy of Jesus.
